Fini

I've been following Rachel Zoe's newsletter recently and one item in particular caught my attention. Last month Rachel posted "Um...Need to Powder My Nose". Rachel wasn't lyin' when she said this would give me flawless skin. Do yourself a favor and get Mac's 'Prep + Prime' Transparent Finishing Powder. My skin looks silky smooth and feels matte all day.

While I was shopping for this magical powder I also wanted to find an impeccable liquid eye liner. I then remembered reading one of my Glamour magazines earlier this summer mentioning Mac's gel liquid eyeliner. I scooped this up along with a precise eye liner brush.

I know there are other great prime and "finishing" products out there. These are just the first I've stumbled on that actually do the job. What are your favorite make up products right now? Tell me! I'm dying to find more.

Oui for Anna Sui

Dear Anna Sui,

I fell in love with your SoHo - NYC store this summer and now I must confess my lust for your designs. I always loved your funky style since the age of 15-16. Your runway shows were crazy funky/edgy/Gothic/girly/flirty/Victorian/rock&roll...the list goes on with the many many different avenues of fashion you marry together. I also cannot leave out the envy I had for you as an Asian fashion designer.

My experience in your retail store was above and beyond my expectations as a child and I was in boutique heaven the second I walked in. To my delight I didn't break my bank account with the winning piece I scooped up that day. I found a sheer, multi colored, gold pinstriped tunic that flowed like the softness of silk running down a waterfall. Thank you for making this for me because it fits me like a glove.

With that said, I'd like to thank you for choosing a pocket saving product line for Target this season! I was shocked at what I found. I cannot wait to sport the looks I've found. Cheers to your rockin' style!

With love,
La Buutique

Say oui to Anna Sui for Target...these were my top picks!

Blazin for the fall

Hello my fashionista's jumping into fall weather! I hope your summer was hot and sweaty because it's time to cool off and blaze through the fall. I've spotted a few blazers that I adore and can't wait to start layering new threads.

Fall into a new blazer or jacket; it'll make this season much more fun to layer and experiment with and you can accessorize galore for maximum effect.

Have you found your fave fall jacket?

Such feminine sleeves!

I love the versatile options to this jacket

Lash me and cover me up

My summer make up search has led me to the perfect matching concealer and mascara that extends for days. Hopefully extending through every day of this lovely season while I run around and play.

I was in need of more mascara. I mean MORE mascara. The look of lashes that just goes on and on and is thick around each strand of hair lining your top eye lid. I wanted to try something different and outstanding. And by outstanding I mean, something that would pop out when I put it on. Something defined in texture and in color. And Voila! I found Bourjois' Volume Glamour ULTRA Curl. The name itself has every option I was seeking for! Pretty marketing package in black and pink is always a plus too.

My need for concealer was by mistake. I just needed more of it for "emergencies" but I also think of it being unnecessary in the summer. I was intrigued with Smashbox because I've never tried anything from this product line and wanted to give it a chance. When I tested the high definition concealer in the medium shade I was mesmerized. The concealer hid my imperfection so well it just disappeared. I've never had a concealer match my skin SO well! I was SOLD!
